HI THERE.

New York City real estate photography combines two of the things that I love most: thoughtful, methodical image-making, and the magic of The City That Never Sleeps.

I was born in Da Nang, Viet Nam and lived in an orphanage in Sai Gon until I was adopted at the age of two. I was raised in Cleveland Heights, Ohio with a White sister, a Black brother, and a brother and a sister adopted from different parts of India.

In October 1998, I moved to New York City to be a small fish in a big pond. For several years, I freelanced as a graphic designer, photographer, and webmaster for several Manhattan-based entertainment companies and nightclub promoters.

I later worked as a location scout for commercial clients such as Adidas and JCPenney. My film credits as a location scout and production photographer include Heterosexuals (2010)New York (2009), and Me, Myself and Your Husband (2010).

From December 2012 until August 2017, I was the General Manager of West St. Studios, a boutique production facility in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I co-produced shoots for BET, Chipotle, Culture Trip, Elle MagazineGQ Magazine, Kith NYC, NBC Sports, Nick at Night, Origins, People Magazine, Schutz, Sony Music, Target, and Women’s Wear Daily Magazine.

I live in a fourth-floor walk-up in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn with three rescue cats (Tofu, Kumquat, and Jäger), and three freshwater planted tanks. I am the father to two adult sons (Johnny and Mark) that I adopted as teenagers in August 2006.
