In December 2013, real estate brokerage service Redfin published a study that concluded that:• Homes with listing photos taken with DSLR cameras sell for more money than those with amateur photos.
• Homes with DSLR photos sell faster.
• Homes with sharper photos sell for more money.
• Professionally-photographed homes are more likely to sell within six months.
The study found that homes priced between $200K and $1M sold for an average of $3,400 to $11,200 more than their list prices when professionally photographed than homes with amateur photos. For homes priced between $400K and $500K, the study found that homes professionally photographed sold for $11,200 more.

By delegating your listing photography to me, you’ll have one less thing to worry about, and you can better serve your clients.

About Jimi Sweet

New York City real estate photography combines two of the things that I love most: thoughtful, methodical image-making, and the magic of The City That Never Sleeps.I was born in Da Nang, Vietnam and lived in an orphanage in Saigon until I was adopted at the age of three. I was raised in Cleveland Heights, Ohio with a White sister, a Black brother, and a brother and a sister adopted from different parts of India. In October 1998, I moved to New York City to be a small fish in a big pond. For several years, I freelanced as a graphic designer, photographer, and webmaster for several Manhattan-based entertainment companies and nightclub promoters.I later worked as a location scout for commercial clients such as Adidas and JCPenney. My film credits as a location scout and production photographer include Heterosexuals (2010), New York (2009), and Me, Myself and Your Husband (2010).From December 2012 until August 2017, I was the General Manager of West St. Studios, a boutique production facility in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I co-produced shoots for BET, Chipotle, Culture Trip, Elle Magazine, GQ Magazine, Kith NYC, NBC Sports, Nick at Night, Origins, People Magazine, Schutz, Sony Music, Target, and Women’s Wear Daily Magazine.I live in a fourth-floor walk-up in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn with three rescue cats (Tofu, Kumquat, and Jäger), and two freshwater planted tanks. I am the father to two adult sons (Johnny and Mark) that I adopted as teenagers in August 2006.You can follow me on Instagram at @jimisweet0505.
